This notice is provided by the Township of Armstrong pursuant to the Municipal Act, 2001 and the Township’s Notice By-law.

Council intends to consider the adoption of the 2026 Budget at its regular meeting on:

April 29, 2026 at 5:00 p.m.
Municipal Office, 35 Tenth Street, Earlton

The 2026 Budget By-law will provide for the adoption of municipal estimates, tax rates, water and wastewater rates, garbage rates, and applicable penalties.

The proposed budget includes a 2.73% increase in the tax levy, a $32 decrease in utility rates, and capital projects totaling $1.36 million. For a residential property connected to municipal services and assessed at $200,000, this represents an estimated annual increase of $46.09.

Written comments and requests to appear as a delegation must be submitted to the Municipal Office by April 22, 2026 at 12:00 p.m. for Council’s consideration at the April 29, 2026 meeting.
